Hello everyone,

Here are some more of the promised pictures from last weekend. We got the call from T.L. that J.A. was going into the hospital at about 6:20 am on Sunday. They were going to wait until 7:00 am to decide for sure. Grandpa and I got everything ready to leave and when the second call came we made the 55 minute trip to T and Fenori's to stay with Bean and Bug until it was time to take them to the hospital. T was asked to take the Sunday morning service at the church he grew up in, so they were getting ready to leave. Here are a few more pics:

Bug and Bean ready for the Hospital and Deuce, Lili and Fess ready for church.

They all look so pretty!

Fess is getting a little training in the "funny face" pose!

I think she's got it down!

The two 7 year old cousins! (Bean will be 7 in July)

Lili with Bug and Fess in a group hug!

Zoo still had to get dressed. You can't go to church in your jammies!

Now that's a pretty face!

Bug and Grandpa coloring while we wait for a call.

Bean and Grandma were coloring, too, and here is the picture Bean colored.

Bean and Bug at the hospital. They were so well-behaved after being there for over 8 hours! They received lots of compliments from hospital staff!

This was at the bonfire the next night that T and Fenori put on for the girls.

Notice evidence of 'Smore eating on the Fess face!

The girls were actually picking grass for a fun picture we tried to shoot.

They were trying to throw their flip flops and handfuls of grass in the air at the same time!

Don't ask me why--you were all kids once too, remember!

We just couldn't seem to get the timing down just right.

These action shots get a little blurry if you don't catch it just right.

Not quite right yet!
There we go! A perfect flip flop/grass toss with smiles all around!

It was so much fun playing with the girls. Not to mention the excellent 'Smores that Fenori put together! The cousins had a wonderful time for over a week. Now everyone is back home and doing well. Bean and Bug have Mommy's brother and his wife visiting from New Zealand for a month now. Their Auntie is expecting a baby in December, so they will have another new cousin!

I still have more pictures to post and also some new ones from the baseball game we went to with T and Fenori and the kids last night! Then I also have pictures from my 35th (yikes!) year class reunion to share. I'm going to be pretty busy for awhile!

Have a very blessed week!

Shalom,

Robin

Hello everyone,

She's here! Our newest granddaughter was born on Sunday night. She weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and is 20 1/2". We spent almost all day at the hospital with Bean and Bug waiting for her to arrive! It was very late and the girls were tired so they didn't get to hold her until the next morning. I took about 150 pictures during the two days I was with everyone. It will take a few more posts to get them all up. Here are some just from the hospital:

Bean and Bug with Mommy and baby sister shortly after she was born.

This was the next day and Bean couldn't look happier!

Bug got her turn to hold her new baby sister.

Mommy helping her hold the baby just right!

Bug and Bean with Mommy and their sister.

Daddy, Bean and baby.

Here she is!

A proud Bean with Daddy and sister.

Daddy and baby with big sister, Bug, and biggest sister, Bean!

Later the cousins, Deuce, Fess and Lili came for a visit!
The tired but happy family!

I'll try to post more every couple of days. It was a real blessing to be able to be with the girls while they waited for their sister to arrive! We also got to spend time with J.A.'s parents from Minnesota. They are always fun to spend time with. We watched golf and did a crossword puzzle while waiting!

We are so blessed to have 7 healthy, happy grandchildren! We plan on having another big family picture taken next month so you will be able to see everyone together!

Have a very blessed rest of the week!

Shalom,

Robin

Hello everyone,

I spent last Thursday with Fenori, Deuce, Lili, Fess and Zoo. We went shopping so they would have plenty of food in the house because T.L., J.A., Bean and Bug will be staying with them until the baby is born! The girls have been looking forward to this for awhile! Fess says her cousins are her best friends! I will be going there tomorrow and should have new pictures to share! In the meantime, here are a few:

Deuce looks a little different! Can you tell what it is?

Now you can see it! One front tooth missing and I think the other one is loose, too!

Mommy curled their hair. Doesn't Lili look older?!

Fess was thrilled to be going shopping with everyone!
Zoo is never very thrilled to be in the van!

We had a great time shopping and I am really looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! J.A. feels that the baby may be arriving on Sunday. We'll be here with pictures when she finally arrives!

Enjoy your week!

Shalom,

Robin

Hello everyone,

Here are some pictures from Bean and Bug's dance recital last Sunday. They both did a great job and were adorable in their costumes.

Grandma squeezed into the seat between them on the way to the High School. It's really hard to get a picture of Bug with her eyes open.

Bean is good at posing for the camera.

Bug picked some dandelions for Grandma!

Bean carrying her dance bag with their tap shoes.

Cutie Bug in her pink and blue costume that matched her pink crocs!

Bean was adorable in her red and white costume!

Bean is in the front on the left end here.

Bean's class performed to "When the Red Red Robin Comes Bob-Bob-Bobbin' Along".

Bean did a great job and she was really cute!

Bean informed Grandma Robin that the Robin in her song was the bird and not a Grandma!

Bean did a very good job with her tap routine!

Bug is third from the right!

Bug and her class performing to "I'm So Glad I'm Me".

All of the girls were cute, but I'm rather partial to this pretty Bug!

Bug doing her tap routine.

Bug liked this part when she got to dance with her partner.

A very adorable part of the routine!

The tired sisters after a very long night for them!

This was posing for Grandma's camera at home before they changed.

There's Bug looking away again!

Now she's closing her eyes!

There are the eyes and smiles from both Bean and Bug!

And the required "funny face", of course!

Bean enjoying her Dairy Queen treat after all that hard work!

Bug showing us her wavy hair after Mommy loosened it for her.

Bug ready for bed.

Bean ready for bed with her birthday hat on.

Both girls looking rather sleepy after a long night!

Bug with a book.

Bean with one more "funny face".

It's always so fun to see the girls perform! They work so hard and do such a good job. It does tend to be a long night for them, though, with 28 different numbers from all different age groups. J.A. also had a lot of work to do to get them ready with hair and everything and on two consecutive nights! All this and she's also about to deliver her third baby very soon! Hopefully she won't have to wait too much longer and then we will have pictures to share of grandchild #7!

We praise the Lord for all of our family! It's fun to spend time with them and we look forward to those times. Our church family is also very important to us and we will be attending the wedding of Sara Selvig to Josh Torpen this Saturday. I will try to get some pictures to share from the wedding!

Have a great, blessed weekend!

Shalom,

Robin
