Hi everyone!

Well, he's finally here! Our first grandson arrived on April 26. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19 1/2" long. We'll call him D.C. until he gets a nickname! He looks like his daddy and his sisters adore him! We stayed with Deuce, Lili & Fessers while Fenori & T were in the hospital. We had a great time and I have pictures to share!

The girls get to meet their baby brother and they love him!!!

Deuce with baby D.C. Lili with D.C. Fessers loves touching him!!!

The girls dancing & singing songs from "Mommy & Me" while waiting
for Mommy, Daddy & Brother to get home from the hospital.
D.C. & Mommy catching some much needed rest!!! Shhhhh!

T.L., J.A., Bean & Bug may be coming this weekend so they can see the new baby. I know I'll have more pictures to share then!

I'm so grateful & thankful to my wonderful Heavenly Father for all the blessings in my life. For health, happiness, prosperity, my wonderful family, my precious church family, the priceless privilage of being part of the family of God and the awesome responsibility of being a carrier of the Good News! God is not holding anything against anyone. Jesus gave Himself to pay the price for sin for all who would believe & receive. Is there any reason you can't receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior now and have heaven as your home when you leave this earth? Click on the Spoken Word Church link on the right side and you will find how to become a child of God and many other things you need to know once you become a member of His family. Have a most blessed day!

Hi everyone!

It's been beautiful here today, finally! I spent yesterday with my daughter and her three girls. She had her weekly appointment so I played with the girls. Always a fun time, I'll post pics soon! The baby will probably be born later next week. I can't wait to see him and find out his name (& nickname!)

The tragic murders that happened this week are so horrendous, the fact that a human being could do something like that is almost unbelievable. Almost. I had a really sobering thought. While I was studying the Bible the other day I was in Deuteronomy reading about the cities of refuge that were set up for the protection of someone who had accidently killed another. They were not allowed to protect someone who had actually murdered someone (the shedding of innocent blood). When I thought about the massacre that occured at Virginia Tech and how much media coverage it received, and is still receiving, and, I'm totally sure, will be milked by every network for all it's worth, I was reminded of the almost 1.4 million unborn babies that were murdered in this country alone in the last year. No media outlet ever covers that, no flags flown at half-mast, no memorial services. There is no more innocent blood than that of an unborn child. Our nation talks about human rights policies of other nations when we allow some of the most barbaric practices ever heard of to be performed on the most defenseless of our people. That this country hasn't been judged for that alone is nothing less than the mercy of God!

That same merciful God has provided the Way for us to come to Him, be rid of our sinful nature, have heaven as our home when we leave this earth and the power and ability to serve Him while we're still here! I am so glad that I have found my Savior! Have you? Don't wait until it is too late! Click on The Spoken Word Church link and you will find out how to receive Jesus the Christ as Lord and Savior and to begin a whole new way of Life!

Shalom!

Hi everyone!

It's been awhile and it's been busy! Fenori is VERY ready for the baby to be born. The baby is already measuring full term size, so we may be seeing him earlier than we thought. God's perfect time, though.

Deuce has finished school (first grade) and did extremely well. She's reading alot and loves it.

We spent Wednesday with T.L., J.A., Bean & Bug. We were celebrating Bug's 4th birthday that was March 31st. I have some pictures to share!

Bug with her My Twinn doll.
Bean with her sister's doll.
Bug enoying her birthday cupcake!
Bean eating pizza and cupcake, yum!!!

Cutie Bug & her "Bug Girl"!

I also met recently with two friends that I went to High School with. We are planning our (shh...35 year) class reunion. It was great to see them and we actually recognized each other!

On a serious note, I know that it's pretty obvious that there is a real spirit of hatred operating in our country. It is most noticeable and gets the most coverage in the political realm, but it is happening everywhere! We hear of the awful things people are doing to each other and you wonder what would ever make a person do that! Then we remember what Jesus said, that our fight is not with people but with the spirits operating through them:

Eph 6:11-1311 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.(KJV)

Our job as believers is to keep our full armour on, take our God-given authority over all the works of the enemy & continue to preach the simple and powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is the only way people will be set free. We'll be about our Father's business, He'll be pleased & we'll be blessed! I like that!

Have a great weekend!
