Here is a closeup of D.C. He is 3 months old in this picture. He's a healthy boy! He's already trying to roll over and see the world!
I'm always amazed at my grandchildren. They have such different and unique personalities. It's so much fun to see them grow and develop, to watch their gifts and talents emerge. It reminds me of the Body of Christ. Each of us have the same Father, but we are so different and unique! We each have an individual calling and equipping for that calling. Yet we are all to work together for the advancement of the Kingdom of God and for the growth and developement of the Body! I love Ephesians chapter 4:
Eph 4:11-16
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.(KJV)
We're all being perfected (matured) by acting on the teaching of God's Word through the ministry gifts He's given us so that we can be more effective in the ministry God has called us to. God has a special plan for your life. You need to spend time with Him in prayer and in His Word so that He can reveal it to you. You will never be truly at peace and filled with joy until you are fulfilling His will for your life.
