Hello everyone,

Here are some of the pictures from our New York trip:

The night before we flew to New York we had dinner with Nick and Maya and Brian and Kristine. We were able to stay at Kristine's house overnight and then we left for the airport at 4:30 AM.

Pastor at the airport waiting to board the plane.

We had a slight delay over a luggage situation at JFK airport in New York. Then we took a cab to our hotel and then the subway to our first stop. Our favorite restaurant in New York: Pepe Giallo.

The restaurant is small and we ate in the garden area. The walls are actually the outside walls of the surrounding buildings. Quite interesting decor and fantastic food!

We had to make a stop a Modell's so Roxy could get herself a Yankee shirt. They had this statue outside of the store.

Our next stop was Yankee Stadium. This is the new stadium going up across the street from the current one.

Here is our last look at our beloved Yankee Stadium from the subway platform.

Inside of the best baseball stadium in the world!

Another beautiful day to watch a baseball game!

That's Captain Derek Jeter on first. Let's Go, Yankees!!!

Evening coming and we're ahead!

Top of the ninth and looking good for us! We went on to win 12-4. Great game to be at.

Time Square at night. Lights and action everywhere!

We walked all over New York City! At least it seemed that way. It was great and great exercise!

The Harbour on our way to walk the Brooklyn Bridge.

We made it across the Brooklyn Bridge and had to get our strength back with pizza and ice cream! Yummy!

This is the bridge on our way back across.

One of the tall towers on the bridge.

Looking at the Manhattan Bridge from the Brooklyn Bridge.

We ate at a Moroccan restaurant later that day. I didn't get a picture of my Chicken Bastilla, but it was delicious! This is one of the desserts we shared: Cinnamon ice cream.

This was our best choice. it was pomegranate and blueberry. Excellent!

We had to have canolis at our favorite dessert spot: De Robertis. this is where Phil "Scooter" Rizzuto used to get his canolis. Wonderful!

The SW entrance to Central Park. We walked THE WHOLE PARK!!! Lot's of walking and I have decided that I have seen enough of Central Park for awhile! We have beautiful parks in Wisconsin. I want to see the things I can't see here next time!

We visited the Jewish Holocaust Museum on our trip. It is very well done and a must see for everyone. The truth about the Holocaust that many people are trying to deny ever happened.

We had a great time and definitely plan a return trip. We especially want to see the new Yankee Stadium next year.

Have a great week!

Shalom,

Robin
