Here are some pictures from our mini vacation in the Twin Cities. We were staying at the "Hotel TiniBrian" and were very blessed to be there!:D Brian and Kristine were so gracious to let us stay at their home while they were away. We all went to lunch at Moscow on the Hill in St. Paul on our first day, Monday, May 18. We have been there before and loved it. We were not disappointed this time either! Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. We didn't take any pictures because we have shared those before AND I forgot my camera in the car! Trust me - it was FANTASTIC!!! Here are the pictures that I DID get:
Greg, me, Roxy and Pastor at Fogo de Chao in Minneapolis. It's a Brazilian Steak House and if you are a meat lover, you'll LOVE it! If not, they have a wonderful, HUGE salad bar!
This is just a small portion of MY salad bar! (Don't like meat!:D)
We're looking at the picture on the wall of the Brazilian cowboys (Gouchos) who do the cooking of the meat.
Here are some on horseback! We loved it there, too!
This is of the buffet at True Thai in Minneapolis, one of our favorites.
Another view while filling up plates!
I'm not a buffet lover, so here is my choice - Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken - wonderful!
Here is Pastor at Union Depot in St. Paul where we went to eat at Christos Greek Restaurant in honor of Brian and Kristine who were in Greece!
Huge columns and the old clock.
Train mural on one of the walls of the Depot.
He won't REALLY get hit by the train!
Christos is located in the middle of the Depot.
Taking a picture by the Athens poster in honor of Brian and Kristine!
A view of the restaurant's other entrance.
Samson?!
The Greek buffet.
Another view.
And another view.
And still another view.
And another!
One more view - a lot of great food!
And MY choice - Phyllo wrapped Chicken and Spinach with Spiced Carrots - YUM!!!
We REALLY did do more than eat, but restaurants were a real highlight of our trip. We did a lot of shopping, finding some really great bargains, resting, watching baseball, hockey and basketball. A needed get-a-way! Can't wait to do it again!
I am really starting to enjoy the warmer weather! Take advantage of every nice day! Stay full of faith, full of power and walk in love - it NEVER fails!
Shalom in Him,
Robin
