We were really surprised to get a call from Fenori at 4:50 am on Friday, August 7th! She was scheduled to have labor induced on Monday the 10th, when her doctor was returning from vacation! But God had other plans! We rushed to their house to stay with Deuce, Lili, Fess and Zoo while they went to the hospital. The only problem was that we live 55 minutes away from them! We sped (safely! :)) to their house, stopped the car in the driveway, threw our bags on the grass and loaded them in. They took off to the hospital that is about 20 minutes away. She had called for the doctor on call at 2:30am and hadn't yet received a return call. They were finally checked in to the hospital at 7:08 and the baby was born at 7:18! No doctor present! Three nurses were there and the doctor showed up (from home!) after the baby was born! Fenori delivered an 8lb. 7oz. baby boy! He is beautiful and we are still waiting for a nickname! Then I will have to change the name of this blog again! Yay! Here are SOME of the pictures:

We stayed for two more days until they came home from the hospital, so I have many more pictures to share in a few days!
We now have 8 grandchildren and feel very blessed! They are all so beautiful, smart, creative and unique! I can't wait to see how this little one develops! But we won't hurry things! Enjoying EVERY minute of being Grandma!
