Hi everyone!

Here is a closeup of D.C. He is 3 months old in this picture. He's a healthy boy! He's already trying to roll over and see the world!

I'm always amazed at my grandchildren. They have such different and unique personalities. It's so much fun to see them grow and develop, to watch their gifts and talents emerge. It reminds me of the Body of Christ. Each of us have the same Father, but we are so different and unique! We each have an individual calling and equipping for that calling. Yet we are all to work together for the advancement of the Kingdom of God and for the growth and developement of the Body! I love Ephesians chapter 4:

Eph 4:11-16
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.(KJV)

We're all being perfected (matured) by acting on the teaching of God's Word through the ministry gifts He's given us so that we can be more effective in the ministry God has called us to. God has a special plan for your life. You need to spend time with Him in prayer and in His Word so that He can reveal it to you. You will never be truly at peace and filled with joy until you are fulfilling His will for your life. If you would like help with this or any other concern for your life, please contact us at The Spoken Word Church (link to the right). We would love to be of assistance to you! Have a wonderful day in His presence!

Shalom!

Hello to all,

I spent the weekend with Fenori and her 4 children while T and Grandpa went to help T.L. and J.A. do some remodeling. Deuce and Lili had a back to school carnival on Friday so I spent the day with Fessers and D.C. We had lots of fun! Then we watched movies on Friday and went shopping and to the park on Saturday. We all had a very good time. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Fessers at the playground having fun!

Lili at the playground, also having fun!

Deuce on the edge of the slide!

D.C. in his swing! He likes playing, too!

Next weekend we have a big family get together planned as T.L. celebrates his 30th birthday and Fessers her 2nd! Should be alot of fun and I will have pictures!

I wanted to share some Scripture that I used for my Adult Bible Study class today.

II Tim. 2:15 (Amplified Bible) says:
Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing--rightly handling and skillfully teaching--the Word of Truth.

And also:

IITim. 3:16-17 (Amplified Bible):
Every Scripture is God-breathed--given by His inspiration--and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, and for training in righteousness [that is, in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose and action],
So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well-fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Our Father wants us to know His Word so well that we can rightly discern truth from error. There are alot of voices in the world today, but not all of them are telling the Truth! When we study and meditate on God's Word, we will be able to think like Him, talk like Him and act like Him! Then we will have His results and people will be drawn to Him through us! That's our ultimate calling, to be bright lights in the world and to the world, sharing the simple Gospel message to all who will hear so they, too, can receive Jesus as Lord and personal Savior. Have a wonderful week being about our Father's business!

Shalom to all,

Robin

Hello everyone!

I want to share a verse I have been meditating on alot lately.

Heb 11:66 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.(KJV)

The first phrase "he is" means to exist or to consist. That means that God is all that His Word says that He is. We need to find out what God says about Himself in order to really understand Him. The first place to start would be to study the Names of God found in the Bible.

When we find out all that He is, then we are ready for the second phrase "he is". That phrase means to become. God will become in our lives all that He is, when we believe what His Word says about Him and then expect Him to become that in our lives!

Faith is trust, confidence and assurance. So start your own study so you can begin to have faith in who God is and what He will do in your life!

Have a most blessed day in Him!

Shalom,

Robin

Hi everyone!

We've had a very busy few weeks again! Never a dull moment around here!

First we have pictures of Bean's 6th birthday party! We had a few gifts for her, but our biggest gift was a day with Grandpa and Grandma. We had lunch together, went to a park and then spent most of the rest of the day at an amusement type spot. We had lots of fun and here are some pictures:

Bean opening her presents

Bug loves her new Superman toy!
Grandma and Bean eating our picnic lunch. She picked the food and it was all very healthy!

Grandpa and Bean posing!

Grandpa and Bean on the Tilt-A-Whirl

Bean on the trampoline

Riding on the carousel

They BOTH love cotton candy! Not too healthy here!

Then the next weekend we took care of Fess and D.C. so T & Fenori could take Deuce and Lili to the Green Bay Packers family night. They had a great time again! We did, too, but because they had my camera, we have no pictures of us. Here are the Packer pics!

Beautiful day at Lambeau!

Lili and Mommy!

Deuce by Daddy
Another great partial-family photo!

Last weekend I had the honor of performing the wedding ceremony for my niece and new nephew-in-law. It was very fun to see all of the family!

Today we had another great service at our church learning how to overcome "ourselves"! Exposing the nature of the flesh that tries to trip us up as believers in Jesus Christ and how to hide the Word of God in our hearts so we can always make the right choices. I LOVE to hear the Word of God taught in such practical and real terms. I just LOVE the Word of God, period! It's so full and powerful! I intend to spend more time sharing nuggets I've been gleaning from my daily Bible Study. Tune in soon if you want to hear more! Until then, have a great, blessed, God-filled week!
