Hello everyone!

We spent Saturday with T.L., J.A., Bean and Bug. It really felt like Fall! I have just 4 pictures:

J.A., Bug, Grandma and Bean heading for a walk by the lake.

Bug on the walk!

Bean on the walk!

T.L., J.A., Bean, Bug and Grandma. Grandpa was taking pictures!

We had a really fun time. They made supper and it was delicious! We ate out in the yard in the sukkah that they had made for Sukkot (or Sukkoth), the Jewish harvest festival. It was fun to be a part of this celebration after having learned about it a few years ago in church. Part of our heritage of faith as wild branches grafted into the natural olive tree (Israel).

Please continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of the nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. Pray for wisdom for the leaders and rulers of both, that they will make good, godly decisions and that God would make His purpose known to them. It's always amazing how one small sliver of land can have the hatred of the entire world aimed at them! But the Bible tells us that these things WILL happen in the last moments of the last days! Keep looking up, your redemption draweth nigh (near, close, SOON)!!!

Have a great week!

Shalom in Him,

Robin

Hi everyone!

It will be Lili's 5th birthday on Sunday and she wanted to celebrate her birthday at the apple orchards. We went last year and she just loved it! Saturday we made the trip again and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! The girls loved the treats, our picnic lunch, the pony rides and the pumpkins. Here are some of our pictures:

Lili loves horses and she couldn't wait for her ride!

Deuce took her turn and a couple more, too!

We had a great time and it was a very full day. The apples were great and so was the picnic lunch Grandpa brought. Thank you, Jesus, for a most blessed day!

We really need to take the time to appreciate how blessed we are! To be grateful for our families, church families and friends, and to show them how much we care. It's too easy to be too busy and not take the time to really live our lives as God intends. He says in the Gospel of John:

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.(KJV)

The Amplified Bible says:

John 10:10
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

The word life here is the Greek word, Zoe, which means "absolute fullness of life" or life as God has it in Himself! Believers in Jesus Christ have this Zoe life inside. God's life! John's Epistle tells us this:

I Jn 5:11-12
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.(KJV)

This is that same life (Zoe). If you have the Son, if you have received Jesus as your personal Savior, then you have that same life in you! If you have never received Jesus Christ of Nazareth as your personal Savior, then you do not have this life. Is there any reason you can't receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior right now? If you have questions, please contact me. If you would like to pray to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, please go to the Spoken Word Church link to the right and you will find a prayer to guide you. Don't live another day without His life in you!

Have a wonderful week, living in His life!

Love and Shalom,

Robin

Hello everyone,

I hope you're having a great week! With the Detroit Red Wings beginning their preseason schedule with a game against the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota tonight, I thought I would share these pictures of my grandson, D.C., wearing his Red Wings warm up!

Isn't he adorable and doesn't he look like a little athlete! He's really growing in height, weight and smiles! A little personality is starting to show itself!

I think it's really amazing to see how very different we all are and how God can use each of us, with our unique, God-given personalities, gifts and talents, to accomplish His will. He says in Proverbs:

Prov 22:66 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.(KJV)

The Amplified Translation says:

Prov 22:66 Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent] and when he is old he will not depart from it.

It's an awesome responsibility to be entrusted with the training of a child, but the Lord has promised to be our ever-present help and to grant us the wisdom we need when we ask Him for it!

Remember that it's okay for YOU to be different, too. In fact, God planned it that way! No person in all the world is exactly like you! Your unique personality traits and gifts and talents were given by God Himself so that you could fulfill the ministry He has called you to. There are people you will be able to reach that I will never even have an opportunity to. God's plan is for you to be the best YOU that you can be, while you're representing Him here on earth. If you don't know Him yet, please visit my church website to the right and don't waste another moment of your life without Him!

Have a wonderful rest of the week being all you CAN be, for His glory!

Love and Shalom,

Robin

Hi everyone,

Here is a picture of a sunset in Israel that my son, T.L., took on his recent trip.

It is such a gorgeous picture and reminds me so much of the awesome majesty of our Creator! He created us for His purposes and He loves us with an everlasting love!

I would encourage you, if you don't already, to pray daily for the peace and prosperity of the nation of Israel and for the city of Jerusalem. There is a very erroneous teaching going on in some churches today that says God is finished with Israel and that the church has now taken their place. That is so wrong and puts people, including believers in Jesus, in a very dangerous position. God says:

Gen 12:1-3
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.(KJV)

We certainly want the blessing of God and not the cursing! God also says:

Jer 33:20-21
20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, ...KJV)

God's plan for the nation of Israel is laid out clearly in His Word, and we need to be a blessing to Israel in these last days.

Have a great blessed day! Shalom,

Robin

Hi everyone!

At the same time we had T.L.'s 30th birthday party, we also had one for Fess who turned 2 on the 5th. Here are some of the pictures from her part of the party:

Fess with her two special cupcakes! You can also see Bug, Bean, Deuce and Grandma here.

Deuce, Bean, Lili, Bug and Fess with their new glitter shoes. They loved them and wore them the rest of the day (when they weren't swimming!).

Fess with her new "baby" .

Grandma helping Fess open her Princess chair present with Bean and Deuce looking on.
Fess sitting in her new chair with her new baby on her lap.

We had a tremendous time! It was such a beautiful day, we couldn't have hand-picked a better one!

We tried to take Fess to get her 2 year pictures taken but the photographer was not very good at making her feel at ease, so we will have to try that again! I'll post those when we do.

We spent Saturday with Deuce, Lili, Fess and D.C. while T and Fenori went on a "double-date" with some adult friends! They had a great time and we did, too! Now we have to find a time when T.L. and J.A. have a free weekend so we can deliver his weight set and spend some time with them. Never a dull moment around here!

I hope you all had a very blessed time worshipping our wonderful Lord and Savior in your local church this morning! We had a very interactive service today as we had our congregation taking their part in the work of the ministry! We are blessed with a great church family of Spirit-filled believers who want to grow and learn and be all that God wants them to be. It is such a blessing to teach the Word to teachable people who really want to learn and be doers of the Word!

I hope you have a very glorious week as YOU get to know Him more than you ever have before! He is well worth knowing!

Shalom in His love,

Robin

Hello everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! We sure did! We celebrated the birthdays of T.L. (today!) and Fessers (tomorrow!)
Here are some pictures of T.L. He turned thirty today and we look back a little on a wonderful life!

As a baby. What a cutie!!!
First grade. The cutest AND the smartest!

Senior picture. He's grown up so much!
Engagement picture with J.A. They look good together!
With their first baby, Bean. So happy!
Graduation night. Received his Masters Degree, we're so proud of him!

First trip to Israel. Eating lunch and thoroughly enjoying his trip. (More of these pics later!)
Opening presents (a whole weight set with bench and all) at the Birthday party hosted by T and Fenori. Great fun!

We're very proud of T.L. and can hardly believe that it's been thirty years since we first brought him home! We had a banner made up with pictures for every year and then smaller pictures showing all of his interests over the years. Life with T.L. was never boring! He poured himself into his interests and so did we! From sports, both playing and watching (baseball, basketball, hockey, football, golf, Bears, Saints, Packers, Royals, NY Rangers, Maple Leafs, UMD Bulldogs), to airplanes (airshows, Civil Air Patrol, pilot training, his solo flight), to music (played the trumpet in school for concert band, marching band and competitions) plus all the different types of music he loves to play and listen to (he has several instuments including a didgeridoo and an Irish hand drum), to vacations, museums, studying (he used to read the encyclopedias!), his family and his job (he's doing research right now and loves it). He's grown into a fine man, husband and father. We know he has a bright future ahead of him as he continues to grow and to become all that God plans for him to be!

Have a wonderful day celebrating your loved ones and being thankful to our amazing God for all that He has done in our lives!

Love and Shalom,

Robin
