Hello everyone,

I finally have some more pictures to share. We celebrated T's 33rd birthday and Zoo's 1st birthday last Friday. Then T.L., J.A., Bean & Bug came at bedtime to stay the weekend. I'll share the birthday pics today and then the rest later in the week:

Here is Fess eating her little pizza that Grandpa made for her.

Lili likes her pizza with Ranch!

Deuce liked her pizza and sitting next to Daddy at his birthday party!

Here is one of the birthday boys! His supper treat was take out from Famous Dave's, one of his favorites!

The other birthday boy! He had his supper before, then just shared with everyone.

This is what happens every time his mommy is in his sight, but not right next to him or holding him!

Notice the smile and Mommy's hand in the same picture!

Still smiling!!!

He wasn't really sure about the presents, but he liked the colors!

Daddy really liked this gift--a Packers hat!

The girls all wanted to help Zoo open his presents.

They also wanted to help him play with them!

He really enjoyed the things that made noise, of course!

Making sure that Mommy was still there!

He really liked this toy. When he put the balls into the top of the toy, they roll out and make a noise that sounded like a giggle.

We can't forget Daddy's birthday presents! He got a Brewer's jacket, a T-shirt and a DVD set of Ken Burn's "The War".

Zoo had his own little cake for his first birthday.

He liked the candle and of course tried to eat it!

Mommy replaced the candle with a fork!

This is really fun!

It feels so smooth!

And it tastes good, too!

Yum, yum!!!

Daddy had his cake, too, covered with footballs and baseballs, of course!

Back to Zoo, making his way through!

He's really enjoying himself!

But, as you can see, he really didn't eat that much. It was just fun to do it!

We had a great time! It was lots of fun, and even more when the rest of the family got there! I'll share those pictures later.

The most fun about times like these is seeing how the grandchildren have grown and grown up since the last time we were with them! They all have such unique and individual personalities. There is never a dull moment and I wouldn't miss it for anything. I am really looking forward to watching how God uses them, and their individual gifts and talents, as they continue to grow into who they are! It makes me want to make sure I am being all that God meant for me to be, too! How about you?!

Have a great week,

Shalom,

Robin

Hello everyone,

We spent Friday evening with T and Fenori for T and Zoo's birthdays. Then T.L. and J.A. and the girls arrived for a weekend stay. I have several pictures to share and will try to post them in the next day or so. Until then I wanted to share this great photo of two of the members of the "Know Fear" Youth Group. This was Prom 2008 for Tabatha and her boyfriend Josh. Tabatha has been a member of The Spoken Word Church since birth and has really grown into a beautiful young woman, both inside and out! And to think that Fenori used to babysit her! Doesn't she look gorgeous! And Josh looks pretty nice, too!

I'll post the new pics as soon as I can get them onto my computer. Until then, have a great start to your week!

Shalom,

Robin

Hello everyone,

I just received these new ultrasound pictures of our new granddaughter from J.A. She said that the Baby is growing very well and is even a little ahead.

As you can see, she is still a little shy!

J.A. thinks she looks a little like her daddy!
I think it DOES look like her daddy's smile here!

I am still always amazed at these ultrasound pictures! To think that you can see such detail! And to know that God is at work in her even now:

Psalm 139:13-16 (Amplified)
13For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother's womb.
14I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.
15My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].
16Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.

What a blessing each new life is to Him and should be to us! My prayer for all of the babies I know of that are soon to be born is that they would be blessed, healthy, happy and grow up to be the men and women of God that He intends for them to be!

I should have more pictures from Grandpa's birthday party and shopping trip this weekend. I will also be going with Fenori to get Zoo's 1 year pictures taken. He will be 1 on April 26! That year just flew by! But first his Daddy, T, will turn 33 on April 21. Fenori is taking him to the Packers Draft Party at Lambeau Field and we get to stay with the grandchildren! We may even get to see T.L., J.A. and the girls. Now that would really be a fun weekend!

Have a great rest of your week!

Shalom,

Robin

Hello everyone!

We celebrated Bug's 5th birthday with her on Thursday. She was born on her Grandpa Jim's birthday, so they have a special celebration every year together! We usually go on the following weekend for a party but this year the girls had Spring Break from school, so we went during the week to do something special with just Bug. We went to Canal Park in Duluth. It was a lot of fun and not too crowded! We started with lunch at Subway and then on to the Thrillz, which is an indoor, carnival type game place. She wasn't too thrilled with it because it was too noisy for her, so we improvised for the rest of the day and had a wonderful time! Here are some pictures we took:

Bug and Grandpa on the Carousel.

She picked out the purple horse!
Grandpa rode with her, but not on a horse!
As you can tell, she wasn't too thrilled with the Trampoline!

She liked the little Dinosaur ride that just went back and forth.

She went once on the rolling slide.

She wanted the Carousel again, but not on anything going up and down!

We made a stop at the Candy Store and watched them make Peanut Butter Fudge. Bug picked out some candy for her sister, Bean, and a toy for her new baby sister who is due in June. Then she picked out some chocolates and some gummi worms for herself and to share! They had samples of Pecan Fudge that was so good that we took some home to her mommy and daddy!

It was such a beautiful day that we had to go for a walk by the water! Bug and Grandpa posed by this big anchor.
Grandma gave up the camera for a second so Grandpa could snap this picture of the two of us.
"Grandma, there's another anchor!"
Bug was getting a little tired, so Grandpa provided the transportation!

Back at home we decided to go out for supper.

As you can see, Bug was looking pretty tired by this time!

We returned home so she could open her gifts.

She had a little help from Bean for this.

Her very favorite gift was one that she picked out when we went shopping after the game place. It was a "Pucci Pup" and she LOVES it!
Bean in a REALLY close up shot!

We had a lot of fun. It's nice to spend time with each of the grandchildren alone occasionally. We really get to know their little personalities that way. Each one is so unique and talented and fun! The next birthday will be Zoo's, but he's too young to take on an adventure yet. Maybe next year!

We are enjoying some warm weather here the last couple of days and it is wonderful! I am definitely a warm weather person, so being in a place where it gets so cold in the winter is a real missionary experience for me! I truly believe that I am (for right now!) where God wants me to be, doing what God wants me to do. I sure wouldn't complain if He called me to a warmer climate, though! But then, I wouldn't get to spend as much time with my precious children and grandchildren, so I guess I'll stop complaining!

How about you? Are YOU where God wants you to be, doing what He wants you to do? It really pays to find God's will for your life and then just DO IT! It is such a blessed life and so rewarding, too! My prayer for you is that you will all find His will for you and then do whatever it takes to do it!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Shalom in Him,

Robin
