Hi everyone!

Its another beautiful day here! This is the day that the Lord has made and I love every minute of it! I especially enjoy the sunshine. I would live in Maui if the Lord would just call me there (and move my church and my family!) I guess I'll have to continue to visit once in awhile!

I'm going to share Psalm 113 with you today:

Ps 113:1-9
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
4 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.(KJV)

There is never a time when we are NOT to praise the Lord! Every day and all day He should be hearing our praises from grateful, thankful hearts! He's given us eternal life, heaven as our home when we leave this earth, and every GOOD thing in our lives! James tells us:

James 1:1717 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.(KJV)

Every good thing comes from Him. We all have so much to be thankful for, especially living in this country. And the amazing thing about God is that you can't outgive Him! The more we honor and praise, worship and adore Him, the more He continues to pour favor and blessings into our lives. He delights in our prosperity!

Ps 35:2727 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.(KJV)

Remember that prosperity means being in control of the situations in your life. His righteous cause is to have as many people recieve Jesus as Lord and Savior as possible! I favour that cause. Someone cared enough to share the Gospel with me, how could I not do the same!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend, remembering our brave soldiers all over the world and the ones who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. And most especially, The ONE who paid the highest price of all, Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah!

Shalom to you all!

Robin

Hi everyone!

I hope you are having a very blessed day! I wanted to share with you a link to a very powerful prayer for Israel video:

http://www.acwitness.org/psalm83english.html

It is amazing and powerful! Copy it and send it to everyone you know that loves Israel, and even some who don't. It may wake them up!!! You can also send it from the site itself, just look below at the end of the video.

I'm going to leave you with this today because I believe it is very appropriate to the time we're living in. Check out Joel Rosenberg's site for more up-to-date news on Israel.

I'll continue with Psalm 113 tomorrow. Have a very God-blessed day!!!

Hi everyone!

Getting ready to have Fenori's girls and baby boy for the weekend! Very exciting! She can use a break! Fessers had a problem with a spiking fever and a seizure. Deuce knew to go and pray right away! She's doing well now, thank you Lord Jesus!

T.L. is in Israel and having a great time. His battery in his cell phone ran out so we won't hear from him for a few days, but he is doing fine. We're going to see J.A., Bean & Bug in a couple of days to go out for supper and keep them company, although they are used to T.L. being gone. He was so busy leading up to his graduation that they didn't see much of him at all. They're really looking forward to having him home after his trip.

I wanted to share another of the Psalms our Pastor has been teaching on in his Praise series:

Ps 112:1-10
1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.(KJV)

These Psalms (111, 112, 113) are Psalms of prosperity! God does want His people prosperous (meaning being in control in your life, not under the control of others!). This Psalm says that the person who fears (reveres & worships) the Lord and delights in (keeps, obeys) His commandments will be blessed and have wealth and riches in his house. In referring to the upright and the righteous, we know that we have been made the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ:

2 Cor 5:2121 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.(KJV)

We have right-standing with the God of the Bible because of what Jesus has done for us. We have the right to stand in His presence as if we've never done anything wrong and to become all that He has planned for us to be! How awesome and humbling and precious! I am who God says I am, whether I look like it to you or not! That's how He sees me and that's good enough for me!

Have a very blessed day!

Good morning everyone!

What a beautiful day it is today! Our Pastor has been teaching on praise from Psalms 111, 112 & 113. This is the way God wants His people to prosper! Here is Psalm 111:

Ps 111:1-10
1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.(KJV)

He has commanded His covenant FOREVER!!! When God blesses someone He means it to be forever. The only time covenant is broken is when WE break fellowship with HIM by disobedience to His Word. We've all done that, but praise the Lord for 1 John 1:9! It's our way back into fellowship with Him and a renewal of His covenant of promise in our lives. Dare to believe all that He has said in His Word! Dream big, we have a very big God!!!

If you have never received Jesus the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) as your personal Savior, then this means nothing to you, because it doesn't belong to you. But is there any reason you can't receive Jesus as your Savior? He did all that He did for YOU!!! Click on The Spoken Word Church site link for the prayer to be born again and don't stop there! Find out how to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be endued with power from on high! It's a fabulous, powerful, blessed life He has given us to live here. Yes, there WILL be persecution for those who will live godly in Christ Jesus, but what is that compared to the awesomeness of His presence in us and heaven as our home when we leave this earth!

Have a very God blessed day. Keep a grateful and thankful heart!

Hello everyone!

I am so grateful for the fact that this is the day that the Lord has made! Everyday with Him is absolutely amazing! I wanted to share a piece I found on love:

The following is an expanded interpretive translation of
First Corinthians 13:4-8

“Love patiently and passionately bears with others for as long as patience is needed;

Love doesn’t demand others to be like itself; rather, it is so focused on the needs of others that it bends over backwards to become what others need it to be;

Love is not ambitious, self-centered, or so consumed with itself that it never thinks of the needs or desires that others possess;

Love doesn’t go around talking about itself all the time, constantly exaggerating and embellishing the facts to make it look more important in the sight of others;

Love does not behave in a prideful, arrogant, haughty, superior, snooty, snobbish, or clannish manner;

Love is not rude and discourteous–it is not careless or thoughtless, nor does it carry on in a fashion that would be considered insensitive to others;

Love does not manipulate situations or scheme and devise methods that will twist situations to its own advantage;

Love does not deliberately engage in actions or speak words that are so sharp, they cause an ugly or violent response;

Love does not deliberately keep records of wrongs or past mistakes;

Love does not feel overjoyed when it sees an injustice done to someone else but is elated, thrilled, ecstatic, and overjoyed with the truth;

Love protects, shields, guards, covers, conceals, and safeguards people from exposure;

Love strains forward with all its might to believe the very best in every situation;

Love always expects and anticipates the best in others and the best for others;

Love never quits, never surrenders, and never gives up;
Love never disappoints, never fails, and never lets anyone down.”

That's God's Love (agape) operating through us! Isn't it wonderful that people will be able to see Jesus in us WHEN we act like this! Only by His ability can we do it, but guess what, we HAVE His ability in us IF we have received Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior! If you haven't, click on The Spoken Word Church site and you will find out how and a whole lot more! Have a great God-filled day!

Hi everyone!

I know it's been awhile again! We celebrated with T.L., J.A., Bean & Bug on Thursday as T.L. recieved his Masters Degree in Social Work. He has worked extremely hard and J.A. & the girls have had to be without him for alot of time while he pursued his degree along with work and research. We are very proud of him and all that he has accomplished! Now he is in Israel on a much anticipated trip. We can't wait to hear all about it!

Here are some pictures of the graduation:

T.L. on stage with his degree & his hood
Bug on stage with daddy & Bean wearing daddy's cap

J.A. & T.L. in reception area

I had seriously planned to post every day and share something uplifting from the Word of God, but with all that has been happening with the new grandson and the graduation I haven't been able to. I will try to do better!

I hope all the mothers had a great Mother's Day and that we all took the time to remember and appreciate the wonderful mothers we know!

I will leave you with this:

Col 1:9-14

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:(KJV)

May the Light of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ shine in your hearts! If you don't know Him, ask me, I will be glad to tell you all about my very best friend & my Master & Commander!

Hi everyone!

Well, he's finally here! Our first grandson arrived on April 26. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19 1/2" long. We'll call him D.C. until he gets a nickname! He looks like his daddy and his sisters adore him! We stayed with Deuce, Lili & Fessers while Fenori & T were in the hospital. We had a great time and I have pictures to share!

The girls get to meet their baby brother and they love him!!!

Deuce with baby D.C. Lili with D.C. Fessers loves touching him!!!

The girls dancing & singing songs from "Mommy & Me" while waiting
for Mommy, Daddy & Brother to get home from the hospital.
D.C. & Mommy catching some much needed rest!!! Shhhhh!

T.L., J.A., Bean & Bug may be coming this weekend so they can see the new baby. I know I'll have more pictures to share then!

I'm so grateful & thankful to my wonderful Heavenly Father for all the blessings in my life. For health, happiness, prosperity, my wonderful family, my precious church family, the priceless privilage of being part of the family of God and the awesome responsibility of being a carrier of the Good News! God is not holding anything against anyone. Jesus gave Himself to pay the price for sin for all who would believe & receive. Is there any reason you can't receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior now and have heaven as your home when you leave this earth? Click on the Spoken Word Church link on the right side and you will find how to become a child of God and many other things you need to know once you become a member of His family. Have a most blessed day!

Hi everyone!

It's been beautiful here today, finally! I spent yesterday with my daughter and her three girls. She had her weekly appointment so I played with the girls. Always a fun time, I'll post pics soon! The baby will probably be born later next week. I can't wait to see him and find out his name (& nickname!)

The tragic murders that happened this week are so horrendous, the fact that a human being could do something like that is almost unbelievable. Almost. I had a really sobering thought. While I was studying the Bible the other day I was in Deuteronomy reading about the cities of refuge that were set up for the protection of someone who had accidently killed another. They were not allowed to protect someone who had actually murdered someone (the shedding of innocent blood). When I thought about the massacre that occured at Virginia Tech and how much media coverage it received, and is still receiving, and, I'm totally sure, will be milked by every network for all it's worth, I was reminded of the almost 1.4 million unborn babies that were murdered in this country alone in the last year. No media outlet ever covers that, no flags flown at half-mast, no memorial services. There is no more innocent blood than that of an unborn child. Our nation talks about human rights policies of other nations when we allow some of the most barbaric practices ever heard of to be performed on the most defenseless of our people. That this country hasn't been judged for that alone is nothing less than the mercy of God!

That same merciful God has provided the Way for us to come to Him, be rid of our sinful nature, have heaven as our home when we leave this earth and the power and ability to serve Him while we're still here! I am so glad that I have found my Savior! Have you? Don't wait until it is too late! Click on The Spoken Word Church link and you will find out how to receive Jesus the Christ as Lord and Savior and to begin a whole new way of Life!

Shalom!

Hi everyone!

It's been awhile and it's been busy! Fenori is VERY ready for the baby to be born. The baby is already measuring full term size, so we may be seeing him earlier than we thought. God's perfect time, though.

Deuce has finished school (first grade) and did extremely well. She's reading alot and loves it.

We spent Wednesday with T.L., J.A., Bean & Bug. We were celebrating Bug's 4th birthday that was March 31st. I have some pictures to share!

Bug with her My Twinn doll.
Bean with her sister's doll.
Bug enoying her birthday cupcake!
Bean eating pizza and cupcake, yum!!!
T.L. & J.A.
Grandpa & me, Bean & Bug being goofy!
Bean looking cute!
Cutie Bug & her "Bug Girl"!

I also met recently with two friends that I went to High School with. We are planning our (shh...35 year) class reunion. It was great to see them and we actually recognized each other!

On a serious note, I know that it's pretty obvious that there is a real spirit of hatred operating in our country. It is most noticeable and gets the most coverage in the political realm, but it is happening everywhere! We hear of the awful things people are doing to each other and you wonder what would ever make a person do that! Then we remember what Jesus said, that our fight is not with people but with the spirits operating through them:

Eph 6:11-1311 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.(KJV)

Our job as believers is to keep our full armour on, take our God-given authority over all the works of the enemy & continue to preach the simple and powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is the only way people will be set free. We'll be about our Father's business, He'll be pleased & we'll be blessed! I like that!

Have a great weekend!

Wednesday, March 28, 2007

Hi everyone!
It has been awhile since I've had the time to post. Very busy times! We had Deuce, Lili & Fessers for the weekend while Fenori and T worked to get the baby's room ready! (About a month left and it can't go fast enough for Fenori!).
The girls were great and it was lots of fun. There is just nothing like being Grandma!
Deuce is almost done with school. She is reading very well, reading Bible story books and getting all the big names (like Philistines!!!). I am really impressed!
T.L., J.A. and the girls spent a week in Florida. I can't wait to see their pictures! We will be celebrating Bug's 4th birthday soon. Has it really been that long?

We have been meeting with a group of local Pastors who have a real heart for reaching the people in our area. It has been a great blessing to hear them share and grow together! The devil had better take notice and leave this area NOW because he is in for a real beating when leaders put away pride and jealousy and choose God's will above all else!

If you haven't been keeping up with what's going on in the world check out my links to Joel Rosenberg and Hal Lindsey. These two both do a great job presenting current events from a Biblical perspective. That will help you understand the times we're living in and hopefully give you motivation for sharing the Gospel with everyone possible!

If you've never received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I urge you to click on The Spoken Word Church link. You will find the answers to alot of questions you may have and a place to contact us for help! Don't let another day go by without making sure you belong to the family of God! TODAY is the day of Salvation!

God's best to you all!

Hi all!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! I spent Friday and Saturday with T & Fenori and the girls. We took the girls to see Disney on Ice: The Princess Wishes. It was a wonderful show and the girls loved it! I will post some pictures shortly! T.L. & J.A. and the girls are in Florida for vacation with their other Grandparents so maybe we'll have pictures from them when they return.

I'm still amazed at how the world views the news when I find everthing that is happening has already been prophesied in the Bible! The God of all the universe knows exactly what's happening and what is about to happen and He lets us in on it! These are exciting times and also urgent times to make sure we are letting everyone in on the Good News that God isn't holding anything against anyone. That Jesus the Christ has already paid the price for eternal salvation and all that is left to do is to believe and receive!

Check out this link and listen to the broadcast (Ezekiel's Enigma)for insight into the nation of Israel and what is happening and soon to happen and keep looking up!http://www.hallindsey.org

Have a great day!

Beautifully and wonderfully made by God Himself!Can't wait to see him for real soon!

Hi All,

We had a great weekend in the North country! It was also very white! We spent Saturday afternoon at the hotel swimming and the girls had lots of fun. Then Saturday night into Sunday morning was a blizzard. The family couldn't get out to come back to the hotel for a morning swim so we went to them. We had to park our car three blocks away and walk in blizzard conditions through sometimes knee deep snow to get to their house! They all had great fun with snow forts and such later, though, so it was a very fun time. Here are some pics from the weekend

I am so blessed with such a unique and loving family, a great church where the Word of God is taught boldly, uncompromisingly, precisely, accurately and in Love, a church family that gives such great support, and a "job" where I am able to do what I love most (study the Word, pray, teach & preach).
There is so much happening at such a rapid pace in the world that it would boggle the mind of the person not familiar with God's Word! If that sounds like you, I invite you to check out my "work" link (The Spoken Word Church). There you will receive answers to alot of the questions you may have and the ability to contact us with more questions. God truly does love you with an everlasting Love! Jesus is proof positive of that fact. He (Jesus) is my very best friend and I want YOU to know Him like that! 'Til next time.

Thursday, February 22, 2007

What a busy week! Getting ready to go for a weekend with the entire family. I can't wait to see all of the granddaughters together again. J.A.'s birthday is Monday and we will be celebrating that all together. Such fun!

Meanwhile, things in the world continue to happen at such a rapid pace that its hard to keep up with it all. I was brought back this week to my favorite Scripture passage, Phil. 3:8-14. Paul said: "my determined purpose is to know Him ( to become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him) AMP. I want that to be MY determined purpose, too. To know Him more every day, to understand Him better, to think like He thinks, talk like He talks and to act like He acts! Then people will look at me and see Jesus, and that's a good thing, because He is the only real answer!

Here is a picture of my girls! From left to right in the back are Lili, Deuce, Bean and Bug with little Fessers in the front. This is last year's picture and they all have pretty new dresses for this year. I will post that picture as soon as we all get together again! My new little grandson also has an ultrasound picture that I may post later on. Deuce, Lili & Fessers are the daughters of my daughter, Fenori and son-in-law, T. They are expecting their son this spring. Bean & Bug are the daughters of my son, T.L. and daughter-in-law, J.A. (We use nicknames to protect their privacy!)
We just celebrated Deuce's 6th birthday last Thursday! She is being home-schooled and doing extremely well. She is reading and loves it and she counted to 111 for me on her birthday! Bean is also in school and we will be seeing them this weekend so I can report on her progress! Lili is busy being a good big sister while Mommy & Deuce have school and Bug is in pre-school and also helps Mommy in the Day Care she runs from their home. Fess is busy being Fess! She loves her sisters, spinning, talking on the phone ("hello!") and football ("touchdown!").
I'll try to post more later but for now have a great day and remember that THIS is the day the Lord has made! Let's all rejoice and be glad in it & in Him!!!
Hi everyone!
Welcome to my first venture into the blog world! I am so new to this that it will be a real adventure and a learn-as-I-go experience. Any help or suggestions will be welcomed and greatly appreciated. I believe this will be a great way to keep in touch with friends and loved ones and to meet new people! My primary purpose in life is to share the love of Jesus and the Good News (the Gospel!) with everyone I come in contact with. God LOVES you and Jesus proved it!
