Hello everyone!

We had a Women's Advance this last weekend, along with a bridal shower for one of our ladies of The Spoken Word Church who is getting married and moving out of state. We had a very fun, anointed time and I have a few pictures to share today:

Ashley and baby Eva, one of two newborns we had with us!

Roxy and Linda, the mother of the bride-to-be!

Susan and her niece, Bonnie. It looks like a serious discussion is going on!
Mary in her favorite position, holding a baby in her arms! This little one is Syrus, Nicki's son.

Anita and Charlotte doing a little bonding, just like old times!

The younger generation was well represented by Breanna and Tabatha. They were both a wonderful help with the two babies.

Carol and Connie busy in the kitchen. We know Carol is a Martha, but what is Connie doing there!

That's what Connie was doing, making something hot to drink and spending some time with the bride-to-be, Diana!

Roxy and Mary were our "fire ladies"! They did a great job of keeping the fire going, strong!

The bride-to-be, Diana, with her shower cake that was decorated by Virginia. We didn't have Virginia's picture in this group, but we have many more to come. I will be posting more of them later.

We had a very blessed and anointed time together. Our Friday night service began with praise and worship as we sang some old familiar choruses. We had some very anointed worship and some powerful words from the Lord. Everyone was very blessed and most slept well! The next morning we had a very casual pace as everyone rose at their own time and took advantage of the grounds for walking and prayer. We had breakfast ready in a slow cooker, so we didn't have to have anyone cooking. Bible plan reading, praying and fellowshipping was going on all morning.

We began the shower part of our day with a salad luncheon. Everyone had been given a sheet on Friday night to fill out with a special verse for Diana and a special Diana memory to share. We prepared a binder to put these in for Diana to keep, along with some blank pages for Diana to keep a journal for herself. We took turns reading our verses and special memories and there were lots of "happy" tears. Diana is moving out of state and we wanted her to know we will still be loving her and remembering all of our happy times together! It was a blessing to hear everyone share. Then Diana opened her gifts. She and Alan were very blessed with lots of great presents to begin their new life together!

A great time was had by all with lots of laughter and sharing. Everyone is agreed that they really want to do this again. We will have to make it a regular event! I'll share more pictures as they come in.

Have a great blessed day!

Shalom,

Robin
